Recently, there has been a proliferation of akathists containing dogmatic errors. Although these texts originate from a place of piety, they generally lack the detailed information found in the Menaion for the respective saint. Our decision was to include only dogmatically verified akathists in this application, and we express our reservations regarding websites and applications that contain numerous unverified akathists.
